Trainer

Dustin

Dustin has been training for a little over 2 years. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University in December 2017. During the peak of the COVID 19 pandemic he found himself looking for a new learning opportunity. That took him to the Animal Behavior College! Dustin graduated from the school’s Basic Obedience Program in July or 2021. He is an animal behavior certified dog trainer and loves being a trainer!

Dustin started with The Pet Spot as a daycare attendant to expand his knowledge of canine behavior. He wanted to learn more how dogs socialize with each other and communicate, especially in a social setting like daycare. He moved into the daycare lead role not too long after starting and worked to help integrate each new pup into our daycare through the evaluation process. Now, Dustin works as the trainer in addition to assisting as a lead and running our puppy camp!

“As the Trainer here at The Pet Spot I am looking to help build the relationships between you and your pups through positive reinforcement and classic conditioning. I used a number of tools to assist in the training process and always look for the best possible answers based on your (& your pups!) needs. I look forward to working with you and your furry friends!”
